FAQ
Questions We Receive Most
Why Aren't All the Boxes Full?
To simplify packaging and pricing for our valued customers, our boxes arrive in standard 50g food-grade tins. Because each tea has different compositions and appearances, some teas, such as white teas with large leaves (White Kisses, Blue Butterfly, Sencha, etc.), appear full, while others, such as jasmine teas with tightly packed leaves (Jasmine, Rooibos, Hibiscus, etc.), appear less so. Our general recommendation is 2-3 grams per teacup. Our packages contain 50 grams, 100 grams, or 250 grams of tea, depending on your chosen option.
How should I store my tea?
As long as you store it in a cool, dry place, you won't encounter any problems. Because our products are made to order, you can consume them without any problems within one year of opening the package.

Turkish delight, one of the oldest and most beloved desserts in Turkish cuisine, has held a special place in people's hearts for centuries. With its diverse flavors, soft texture, and exquisite taste, Turkish delight is not just a dessert; it has become a tradition. Beyond just a confection, Turkish delight is a part of Turkish culture and a symbol of hospitality. It finds its place in every aspect of our lives, from tea tables to weddings, from holidays to special celebrations.
The History and Origin of Turkish Delight
The history of Turkish delight dates back to the Ottoman Empire, but its origins are believed to be much older. It is said that Turkish delight was first made in the Ottoman palace in the 15th century. At that time, this sweet, sweet, and soft treat, which means "rahat-ül-hulkum" (throat soothing), was considered both a treat for the palate and believed to be beneficial to one's health.
The shape and preparation of Turkish delight as we know it today began to take shape in the candy shops of Istanbul in the 18th century. With the addition of various flavors and fillings, Turkish delight gradually became more diverse. With each passing year, this dessert, enriched with new flavors, began to spread throughout the world.
The Popularity of Turkish Delight Around the World
Turkish delight (lokum ) is a popular dessert not only in Turkey but throughout the world. Thanks to the Ottoman Empire's vast borders, lokum spread throughout the Middle East, North Africa, the Balkans, and even Europe. It is one of the most well-known exports of Turkish cuisine and is frequently served in Turkish restaurants abroad.
The increasing popularity of Turkish delight worldwide has been largely influenced by the increased international exposure of Turkish cuisine, particularly in recent years. Many cultures around the world have recognized Turkish delight's delicate and soft texture as an excellent choice for sweet lovers.
Why is Turkish Delight Such a Special Dessert?
Turkish delight is much more than just a simple dessert. Each piece of Turkish delight is a work of art, meticulously crafted using carefully selected ingredients and following traditional recipes. The most important characteristic of Turkish delight is its long-lasting freshness. Made with a combination of natural ingredients like sugar, starch, water, and often rosewater, this dessert can remain fresh for days when prepared correctly.
Moreover, Turkish delight's unique texture distinguishes it from other desserts. Thanks to its soft and elastic texture, Turkish delight melts in your mouth, providing a sweet and peaceful flavor experience. Turkish delight pairs perfectly with both tea and coffee. Whether you choose plain or flavored varieties like hazelnut, walnut, rose, or clotted cream, each one offers a unique burst of flavor.
Turkish Delight Varieties to Suit Every Taste
Turkish delight is available in countless flavors and ingredients, not just one. Besides its plain form, Turkish delight can be enhanced with many different flavors. Classic rose-flavored Turkish delight is one of the most well-known and beloved. The perfect combination of rose water and sugar, combined with the delight's soft texture, creates an unforgettable taste.
Other popular Turkish delights include hazelnut, walnut, rose, and even chocolate Turkish delights. Fruit-flavored Turkish delights, which have become increasingly popular in recent years, are enriched with fruit flavors like strawberry, pomegranate, and orange, appealing to all ages.
In addition, the flavors mixed into Turkish delight have also diversified. Chocolate or cream fillings add a unique dimension to the dessert, while crunchy hazelnut or walnut pieces enhance the flavor. There are excellent options for both those who want to stick to traditional recipes and those who want to try innovative flavors.
