What is Matcha?
Matcha, a vibrant, vibrant green tea used primarily in traditional Japanese ceremonies, is made from shade-grown tea tree leaves.
After the leaves are harvested, they are steamed, dried, and subjected to a process that removes the stems, veins, and other impurities. Tencha is obtained, which leaves only 10% of the original harvest. Finally, the tencha is ground very slowly, usually using a hand mill, into a powder.
